The Popular Social Club is a not for profit making organization which brings single people over the age of 40 together in a safe non threatening environment. This organization has been in operation for more than 28 years and is a wonderful steppingstone for the newly separated, divorced, widowed, new to the Sunshine coast or those who simply wish to expand their social life.

We have fortnightly house parties which are renowned for great music, fun and interaction. Various other activities are organized such as dinners, movies,boat cruises, bbq's etc., This voluntary organization is run for members by members, so come along and enjoy the company of other like minded singles.

POPS is a superb way to meet people that are in a similar position.

POPS welcomes all singles 45 upwards, looking to have fun and make friends of both sexes. The emphasis is on providing safe place to meet other like minded singles for friendship and fun.

Events range from house parties to river cruises, dinners, barbeques and private-venue live entertainment.

Parties generally commence at 7.30 pm and have an entry cost of $10.00 for Guests and $7.00 for Members. New memberships are $12.00 per annum.

A newsletter comes out quarterly, giving the dates and venues of parties. Members with email addresses are notified promptly of any change, cancellation or addition via email.
